How to Calculate Time Between Two Times

Convert both times to minutes after midnight, subtract, and add 24 hours (1,440 minutes) if the result is negative.

Duration = end − start (+ 24 h if the end is past midnight)
Decimal hours = hours + minutes ÷ 60   (45 min = 0.75 h)

Tips
