How to Compare EV and Gas Fuel Costs

EV cost = miles ÷ miles per kWh ÷ (1 − charging losses) × price per kWh
Gas cost = miles ÷ mpg × price per gallon
One charge = battery kWh × (to% − from%) ÷ (1 − losses) × price
