How Long Savings Last

Each month the balance grows by the monthly return and the withdrawal comes out; once a year the withdrawal rises with inflation. The money runs out when the balance can’t cover a withdrawal.

Without inflation raises: months = −ln(1 − B × r ÷ W) ÷ ln(1 + r)
